Welcome to the Silkroad Original introduction thread.
Our goal is simple: to revive the spirit of the old days with stability and fairness.
Original files, balanced progression, community-driven events, and clear rules are our foundation. First and foremost, we’re removing pay-to-win entirely; we want a purely fun, grind-focused experience. We’ll share the details in the sections below.


**1. Respect:**
- You may not insult or use profanity against anyone in Global Chat or on Discord.
- Violations result in a timed chat ban, and appeals will not be accepted.
- We want a clean, profanity‑free gaming environment. If you have an issue, resolve it via private message.
**2. No Scamming or Deception:**
- Absolutely no scamming, duping, or deceptive behavior.
- Offenders will be removed from the game and Discord immediately.
**3. No Badmouthing or Advertising:**
- Any behavior that harms the game’s reputation or advertises another server is prohibited.
- Even the slightest infraction will result in a ban.
**4. No Spam or Unnecessary Mentions:**
- Unnecessary spam and tagging staff members without reason are strictly forbidden.
- Violations will be met with warnings or penalties.
**5. Respect Staff Decisions:**
- Comply with all warnings and decisions from management and moderators.
- Disrespecting staff can lead to permanent removal.

You start with very little
at least you have a pet don’t worry, quests will get you everything you need.


We’ve made a few quality-of-life tweaks to stack sizes pretty standard but we’re noting it because we’ve kept the game original in most other areas.


We redesigned the system to effectively remove pay-to-win from the core loop.
We disabled the original quests and added 135 custom ones—each grants EXP, gold, potions, Reverse, and most importantly Silk. Every town has a Quest Manager next to the potion NPC, plus 12 hidden quest NPCs across the map; about 90% of quests are in town.

We’ve said it already: we’re not pay-to-win.
We’re happy for you to earn Silk in fact, as motivation, we want you to gain Silk simply by playing.
Every completed quest grants Silk.
Every hour spent in-game grants Silk.
Every unique you defeat grants Silk.


Our Server features the classic tri-job (Trader / Hunter / Thief) system with a few custom tweaks.
– Reverse is usable in Job mode with a 120-second cooldown.
– The daily gold earning cap is 75M.
- In Job mode, you cannot attack a character if the level difference is 20 or more.

No need to detail caravan routes everything follows the original, and earnings vary by level.



It’s 2025 almost nobody plays from internet cafés anymore, but your security still comes first.
That’s why you can lock (and later unlock) your 8th-degree SoX items for 10M gold.




All spawn slots have been rebalanced and optimized
Party mobs have been removed.
Remember: this server is quest-based.
If you progress by completing the quests, you’ll breeze through the leveling phase.

Just to note upfront: all drops from degrees 1–8 (clean SOS/SOM/SUN) are enabled on mobs from day one. Our goal is fun, not frustration, so getting SoX for degrees 1–6 isn’t overly difficult. Also, elixir drops are active starting from level 20.

Alchemy rates follow the original settings.
enhancement (+) attempts are unlimited.

The key thing to know: Green and Purple stones can be purchased with gold in every town.

Silkroad Original is built to deliver the classic experience without gimmicks or game breaking fluff. With original files, balanced progression, and a transparent economy, it’s fully play-to-win free and purely gameplay-focused. Aside from a few quality-of-life touches, everything stays faithful to the original.
